    Unlike the Turkish Horse, this sculpture of the noble, well-groomed animal is very subdued. Here, the sculpture is more a study in anatomy than in animal psychology and shows Barye’s great knowledge of his equine subjects, whether seen in a stable or imagined in the wild.
