Note after visit of Dean Walker, Sculpture Curator from the Philadelphia Museum of Art (2003): definitely derived from the Louvre's terracotta and was created post-1880 at a time when numerous bronzes of that work were cast. Its inscription is characteristic of the Louvre-derived copies.
Marble in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
